Dear ,

Aren’t you just absolutely pumped about Christmas this year? I can’t wait! I was just thinking of how God loved us so much that He sent His only son to be born of a virgin, live a sinless life, die in our place and raise from the dead in order to give US abundant and eternal life! Isn’t that the most amazing truth ever told?

Of course, I might also be excited about the fact that I will be a grandmother to another very special baby boy that should be born sometime around December 25th! As the song goes….”A baby changes everything!” My perspective about the birth of Jesus has been deeply affected this year as we are anticipating the arrival of Brayden Tyler Boyd. I pray that you and all of your family will also take a fresh look at The Story of Jesus and experience wonder, joy, and awe!

Please pray for children across our state and around the world who don’t have loving arms to hold them, who don’t have the tender, loving care of a mother this Christmas; those children who won’t have enough to eat, much less gifts under the tree. Proverbs 14:31 …”He who is kind to the needy, honors God.” Thank you for the way you honor God. You have been kind to us and the precious children we serve. Thank you for your compassion for “the least of these.”

Merry Christmas from all of us at Florida Baptist Children’s Homes!

Alongside for kids…Julie Boyd
