Events hosted by Florida Baptist Children’s Homes

Foster Care Informational Meetings

Come find out how your passion and natural abilities can make an immediate, positive impact in the life of a child who needs love and hope for the future. Last year more than 16,000 children in the State of Florida were removed from homes due to investigations of abuse, abandonment and neglect. We need dedicated, licensed foster parents like YOU to stand up for and come alongside these children in their time of need. For more information about the meeting in your area, please see contact information below.

At these meetings you will learn about:

  • The distinct needs of children in your community
  • The requirements to become a foster parent with us
  • How to become a licensed foster parent
  • How to encourage more people in your circle of influence to learn about a variety of ways they can care for foster children
