We strive to uphold the dignity and purpose of every human life.
We stand firmly in our belief that every child is fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image. The Sanctity of Human Life program advocates on behalf of the unborn and strengthens existing ministries and programs that promote sexual purity and that educate and walk alongside women and families facing unplanned pregnancies.
Florida Baptist Children’s Homes works with more than 200 pregnancy care centers across Florida to help young women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy.
Pregnancy care centers offer free pregnancy tests, benevolence ministry and education about abortion, adoption and abstinence. PRCs work to build trustworthy relationships with clients in need of a hand to hold or a shoulder to cry on. PRCs also share the Gospel with clients, helping them to see how Jesus Christ will meet their needs and provide them hope when they put their trust in him.
In 2018, there were
reported and documented abortions in Florida, including more than 4,200 that occurred in the second trimester of a pregnancy. Pregnancy is a life-altering event that is occurring in Florida at a more rapid pace than most people receive texts and emails.
Millions of women and men are suffering with the guilt, shame and regret of abortion; many are in our churches. We are here to provide care and resources before, during and after pregnancies.
- In the past 35 years, more than 50 million children have died because of abortion
- Nearly 1 in 4 women in the United States will have an abortion by the age of 45, according to The Guttmacher Institute
- Every day, on average, 197 babies die in abortion clinics across our state (2015).
Help us meet the tangible needs of children and mothers in need.
