Questions?

Thank you for your interest in working with Florida Baptist Children’s Homes and One More Child to make a difference in the lives of children. Do you have a question that isn’t answered here? Send an email to our Director of Human Resources.

Are you still accepting applications for a position posted on the website?

Yes, we are currently accepting applications for every job posted on our website. A job posting is removed immediately after the position has been filled. Other websites may not have an accurate listing of our positions, so this is the most reliable source for job openings within the agency.

Can I mail or fax my application?

All applications need to be submitted through our online application form.

How do I know if my application has been received?

Every application submitted online will be reviewed by our hiring staff. You should receive an email confirming the receipt of your application within three business days (potentially longer during a holiday). If you do not receive a response within one week, please send a follow up email to our Director of Human Resources.

Do I need to submit a separate application for each position of interest?

No. If applying for more than one position, please indicate every position you are applying for inside a single application, in order of preference.

If I have previously applied for a job, should I re-submit my application for new positions?

If it has been over a year since you applied, please submit a new application. If you have new information you wish to share with us, you can also resubmit an application. If you have previously applied and would like to be considered for a new opening, please let us know by sending an email to our Director of Human Resources.

What does the interview process look like?

Completed applications are reviewed by human resources staff and a drug test.

How do I know if my application is still being considered for a position?

We make every effort to contact applicants who will not be considered within one week of the decision. Given the volume of applications we receive, thank you for understanding that we may not be able to contact each applicant personally.

Are non-U.S. citizens eligible for U.S.-based positions?

U.S. citizenship is not required for U.S.-based employment; however, candidates must have the legal right to work in the U.S. We will not be able to assist financially in securing legal documents to work in the U.S.
