Her mother withheld food as a punishment.

To see Isabella’s* bright smile today, you might not imagine what she has been through in her short 10 years of life. Isabella endured unimaginable trauma at home. At the worst point of the cruelty, her mother would withhold food from her as punishment. In addition to the physical abuse, her mother would tell her that she was ugly and hard as the floor she had slept on for most of her life.

Isabella was removed from her home and into their hearts for His redemptive purpose.

Once her adoption was finalized, Isabella attended LifeWay summer camp where she began to process the truth of God’s love and Savior.

We celebrate with thanksgiving the new life Isabella has received! Isabella has not only gained a forever family, but she also found God, who has always loved her and seen her as beautiful!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we need you to give so that more children can receive the protection they desperately need!  At Florida Baptist Children’s Homes, we depend on your generosity and faithfulness.  Will you consider giving one of the amounts below, or what you can, to help children in need?

*Names, certain details and photographs have been changed for reasons of confidentiality.

Yes, I will help provide for children in need!

  • $50 will feed a child for two weeks
  • $100 will feed a child for a month
  • $250 will feed a cottage for a week
  • $1,000 will feed a cottage for a month
  • $6,000 will feed a cottage for six months

All gifts are tax-deductible, and all are deeply appreciated. If gifts should exceed the amount needed to feed children this summer, then those funds will be applied to areas of greatest need for our kids.
