Florida Baptist Children’s Homes and One More Child – Hope Street is seeking to employ a Tampa, FL based Hope for Youth Program Coordinator. The Hope for Youth Program Coordinator will work alongside of the Director of One More Child – Hope Street and will coordinate, facilitate, and implement all Hope for Youth programs of One More Child – Hope Street, which includes but not limited to Hope for Boys, Hope for Girls, and Hope for Young Men (Evening Reporting Center). They will also assist with training, coordinating, and engaging volunteers to lead workshops, employability classes, parenting classes, etc., and work with and supervise all Hope for Youth volunteers. They will also provide direct services to program participants which includes but not limited to program orientation, psycho-social assessments, life skills, delinquency interventions, etc.
Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other related field, and must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). 2-3 years of previous experience working with children and families, in a nonprofit setting is preferred.
