At Florida Baptist Children’s Homes, we are excited to invite you to a two-day conference that will jumpstart your church’s ability to compassionately and practically care for orphans, foster care children and adoptive families.

We encourage you to join us for the 13th annual Christian Alliance for Orphans Summit at First Baptist Church of Orlando on May 5-6.

We are thrilled about the opportunity to be part of an event that will include a special focus on building church adoption and foster care ministries, loving children with special needs and providing resources to effectively engage with foster care children.

“It’s a remarkable sight to see the Body of Christ come┬átogether to share tools, stories and encouragement as we all focus on answering God’s call to the orphan,” said Dr. Haag, president of Florida Baptist Children’s Homes, One More Child and ┬áThe Porch Light.

There are dozens of workshops you can register to attend that are focused on foster and adoptive care, and keynote speakers for the general session include: CAFO President Jedd Medefind, who served in the White House as a Special Assistant to President George W. Bush, leading the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives; Ann Voskamp, author and speaker who wrote the New York Times best-selling book One-Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are; and Dennis Rainey, president of FamilyLife. There will also be concerts, movie screenings, special resources for adoptive and foster families, and more than 75 booths and exhibits for attendees to enjoy.

Registration costs for the two-day conference are $190, with discounts offered to groups of 10 or more people. Children ages 4-10 can also take part in a two-day Kids Summit on-site for $85 per child.

Participants are provided lunch each day and can sign up for their choice of workshops that are in addition to the keynote speakers who will lead the general session.

We know you and your church body have a big heart for hurting children, so we strongly recommend that you join us at CAFO Summit 2016 in Orlando to take the next step in understanding best practices and to make unforgettable memories with your peers!
