We have a guest blogger today — and it happens to be one of our favorite residents on the Lakeland campus (Yes, they are all our favorites!) See what Keishla had to say about her senior prom.
Out of all the things that seniors get to do, prom is one they look forward to the most — well, I know I did. I remember standing in line to buy my prom ticket, thinking that prom would be coming soon and that time would pass by fast before I knew it. Out of about 250 tickets, I bought the 25th one. Now that I had gotten that out of the way I could spend my time looking for a dress, hairstyle and shoes. I can be very indecisive so looking for a dress was a challenge. I changed my dress the week of prom, which worked out because the shoes I bought matched both dresses. My grandmother and mother came and helped me with my hair before I left for prom in Orlando with my friends. It turned out great!
Prom was a blast and I couldn’t have asked for it to be any better; especially with the help of FBCH.
