And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward. (Matthew 10:42)
What is Project 1250?
Project 1250 is an effort to raise an additional $1,125,000 a year by December 31, 2012. These additional funds will be necessary to help us expand our ministry and meet the needs of many more hurting children in Florida and in the developing world.
We plan to do this by enlisting 7,500 Project 1250 Partners who will commit to giving $12.50 a month to the Florida Baptist Children’s Homes.
How does someone become a 1250 Partner?
A Project 1250 Partner is a regular monthly contributor of $12.50/month to the Children’s Homes. This is done through a credit/debit card or automatic bank withdrawal.
Can someone give more than $12.50 a month?
Absolutely! Individuals can certainly give more and many do based on their abilty to give as God has blessed them.
Why are Project 1250 Partners important?
Project 1250 Partners, through their monthly support, bring hope and healing to truly disadvantaged children. Your support will help provide safe and loving environments for children who have known only fear and uncertainty.
With your help we will be able to bring children who have suffered a life of crisis to a life with Christ. For we know that it is only Jesus that can truly transform and renew a child that has been broken emotionally by abuse, neglect, or by the loss or abandonment of their parents.
The dedicated monthly giving by Project 1250 Partners will provide the Children’s Homes with a reliable source of revenue to help care for children in crisis.
