Giving Opportunities

Those who give one of these little ones a cup of cold water because they are my followers will truly get their reward. Matthew 10:42.

Start a Legacy Fund

The Legacy program allows individuals to establish a permanent named fund within our endowment fund.  For example you can establish a permanent fund in the name of your family, business, or other name. You can contribute to the fund every year and watch it grow over time. Every year you will receive a statement that shows the value of the Legacy fund that you have established. The endowment fund is unique in that the principal is never spent. Only earnings from the principal are used to support the needs of the Children’s Homes. Start your family’s Legacy Fund today and watch it grow from one generation to the next!

Actually, planning your estate can be a wonderful process where you have an opportunity to reflect upon God’s blessings in your life… your family, the possessions that God has allowed you to manage, and your faith. In order to assist you in this process, we have provided some “layman friendly” estate planning information that can enable you to protect your family as well as be a wise steward of the assets that God has entrusted to you to use for His glory while you are here on this earth.

Be Aware of Fraudulent Solicitations

Often times people will host events and programs to raise money for the Florida Baptist Children’s Homes and for specific projects in our ministry such as mission trips, Christmas gifts, and youth camps. Many times cash is given or checks are made out to the individuals with the understanding that the money will be given to us.

We encourage you to make sure that the gifts you provide to these individuals actually go to the Children’s Homes. Please give wisely and investigate these fundraisers before making donations in order to prevent the possibility of being defrauded of your generous gifts.

For more information on any of our giving opportunities, please contact Averitt Ennis, Vice President of Development at (863) 687-8811 or Averitt.Ennis@FBCHomes.org.
