Adoption Changes the Warren Family
In 2001, Ronnie and I were married. Our plans were to have two children and then later adopt a child or two. We
had three miscarriages and were very discouraged. We longed to have children of our own. We wanted to be parents. We prayed and searched God’s Word. We felt God leading us to adoption. We researched a couple of agencies and spoke with people who had adopted in the past. We did the interview at Florida Baptist Children’s Homes and knew right away that was the path we were going to take. The staff was very friendly, informative and thorough. We did the necessary requirements to start the adoption process.
We were contacted by the Children’s Homes that we were chosen by a birth mother and she wanted to meet us. We met with the “tummy mommy” and fell in love with her. We were able to go to her doctor’s appointments and fellowship with her. We were there when she went into labor and there to support her. She gave a precious gift that day, which was the life of our daughter. She debated on having an abortion, but God intervened in her life and she was selfless by giving our daughter life. We are so glad we chose adoption and are loving every moment with our daughter.-
