has lived on our Jacksonville campus for the past six years. He graduated from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind and attends First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. When he was a freshman he asked his church to order tracts in Braille so he could share the Gospel with his classmates in school. He has been very involved with the Florida Division of Blind Services where he served as a youth leader for their various programs. Billy plans to transfer to an independent living community where he will have his own apartment. He loves the Florida Gators and playing video games. He will be attending the Florida State College of Jacksonville where he will study automotive mechanics. “Billy is hard-working and industrious and was a model student!” said Danny Hutto, president of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind.
