Located east/southeast of the downtown area, Florida Baptist Children's Homes' Jacksonville campus is known as the "Baptist Home for Children." It operated under the direction and financial support of three nearby Baptist associations (Black Creek, Northeast Florida, and Jacksonville) for 72 years before merging with Florida Baptist Children's Homes on Jan. 1, 1999. The Baptist Home for Children has a long and proud history of helping a lot of boys and girls at a time in their lives when they were most in need.
