Invite us
Invite us to speak to your church, group or organization regarding a wide variety of topics related to our work, or invite us to lead your regular worship service as pulpit supply; we have several ordained ministers on our staff. Our speakers can present a program on our services, on the social issues that necessitate the existence of a Children's Home, or on ways one could help.
There is no charge for any of these services.
The following speakers are available at no charge, as well:
| ♦ Dr. Jerry Haag, Florida Baptist Children's Homes' President |
| |
 |
Dr. Jerry Haag
was the President and CEO of South Texas Children’s Home for seven years before taking the helm of Florida Baptist Children's Homes in July 2007. Dr. Haag is a Certified Financial Planner and has been a member of the National Council on Planned Giving since 2003. | ♦ Christi Haag, wife of Florida Baptist Children's Homes' president |
| |

She has traveled to other countries, as well, for recreational and educational purposes.
Mrs. Haag earned a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education (Biology) at Baylor University. She has taught junior high school, high school, Sunday School and Women’s Bible Studies.

|
| ♦ Julie Boyd, Florida Baptist Children's Homes' Vice President for Development |
| |
A ventriloquist, Julie Boyd performs with "B.C. Homes" and "Miss Mildred," wooden, animated characters that come to life with Mrs. Boyd's helping hand. The three of them share thoughts and opinions that inform, inspire and amuse people of all ages. B.C and Mildred talk about the Children's Homes, of course, and their church and their Creator. Mrs. Boyd manages to get a word in, now and then, too. (By the way, B.C. and Mildred are very proud of the fact that their lips don't move when Mrs. Boyd talks!) |
