Lead House Parents 
Florida Baptist Children's Homes has openings for Lead House Parent couples to serve a specific area. These couples provide support, mentoring and relief to the Primary House Parents within that area. Additional compensation is provided for this vital role, along with room, board, insurance and generous leave. Primary House Parents 
Florida Baptist Children's Homes has openings for Primary House Parent couples to serve in cottage settings, meeting the needs of up to 8 children (ages 5-18). These couples serve as a team with a social worker/case worker. Duties include daily supervision, spiritual development, discipline and teaching of life skills to the children. Training is provided before permanent assignment. Foster Parents
To be eligible to become a foster parent, you:
♦ Must be at least 21 years old and have lived in the community for at least six months; an active member of a local Christian church; married with a stable marriage for at least one year (married couples preferred); in good health (a physician's statement is required).
♦ Must meet your county's home safety requirements, have sufficient bedrooms, and reliable transportation.
♦ Must demonstrate emotional stability and have supportive character references; be financially stable; have no criminal record (fingerprinting is required); agree to discipline without physical punishment; be willing to work with social workers/case workers, other professionals, and the child's biological family; attend 30 hours of foster parent training (known as MAPP — Model Approach to Partnership in Parenting.)
♦ Must not be currently employed by Florida Baptist Children's Homes.

Duties include assisting in starting and supporting Pregnancy Care Centers in this state, strenghtening this organization's adoption and children services, and researching and developing new ministries that support Sanctity of Human Life. Applicants should have strong public speaking skills as well as computer, writing, and organizational skills. Preferred: master's degree in a related field and experience in Pregnancy Care Center ministry.
