Your treasure helps our children!

Since 1904 the Florida Baptist Children’s Homes has served thousands of children and families in crisis. God’s people have generously supported this ministry for more than 100 years, and in turn have helped to bring children in a life of crisis to a life with Christ. Your support allows us to shelter hurting children in the arms of dedicated Christian workers. By becoming a Friend of  Children you become part of a great heritage of helping to care for abused, neglected, and orphaned children in the name of Jesus.

Your gift is a true treasure that will be stored up in heaven. What better investment can be made than in the life of a child in crisis?

“. . . But store up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy,
and where thieves do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart
will be also. (Matthew 6:19-21)

The Friends of Children annual giving program currently has five levels of giving and was established to ensure the provision of the daily needs of the children in our care.

For example:
Level 5 – $25,000
A gift of $25,000 will fund a house parent position for a year.
Level 4 – $10,000
A gift of $10,000 will feed eight children for a year.
Level 3 – $5,000
A gift of $5,000 will cover travel expenses for a cottage van for a year.
Level 2 – $2,500
A gift of $2,500 will fund household expenses for a cottage for a year.
Level 1 – $1,000
A gift of $1,000 will cover medical and dental expenses for a child for a year. There is so much work to be done. Last year there were nearly 100,000 confirmed reports of abuse and neglect toward children in Florida. God’s people continue to be a beacon of light and hope in a dark and fallen world. Please help us change the lives and eternities of thousands of hurting children by becoming a Friend of Children!

Consider becoming a Heritage Club member by remembering the Children’s Homes in your will. Consider creating a named Legacy Fund through a gift to the Children’s Homes’ endowment. Many people choose to establish a Legacy Fund in the name of their family or loved one. Please contact us at (863) 687-8811 or visit our website at www.FBCHomes.org if you would like more information.
