"Come and See" Event

Women throughout North Florida are Invited to an Inspirational  “Come and See” Event in Tallahassee to Impact the Lives of Children in Need

(Tallahassee, FL) – Sat., Feb. 28, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., Florida Baptist Children’s Homes (FBCH) will present “Come and educational event especially for women throughout the North Florida region. The event will take place on the Tallahassee campus located at 8415 Buck Lake Road.

“Come and around the world.

Also during the event, there will be a tour of the cottages on the Tallahassee campus and stories of real lives changed.

Former campus resident, Melanie Moncada, who is currently a senior at Florida State University, will share how her field of study, Family and Child Services, was decided upon because of the impact of FBCH.

“I began living on the Tallahassee campus when I was just five years old, and helped make the person I am today,” said Moncada.

Florida Baptist Children’s Homes is proud to be celebrating more than 110 years of helping children! From the opening of our first orphanage in 1904 to our present day ministries that have expand more.
