Florida Baptist Children’s Homes is seeking to employ a Lakeland based Corporate Controller for its State Office. This position will be responsible for the overall financial and accounting matters of the organization and supporting organizations: building and monitoring a financial and accounting infrastructure that will include budgeting, forecasting, and financial and managerial reporting that succinctly communicates the business performance and the outlook of the organization. This includes oversight of the financial matters of international mission trips. The position is responsible for managing company cash as a faithful steward for our donors and overseeing a system of adequate internal accounting controls reasonable for the size and complexity of the organization. The position also requires coordinating the efforts of the organization’s finance and accounting functions across multiple locations statewide and internationally.
This is an extraordinary opportunity for a mature leader with ten to twelve years of accounting experience. BA in Accounting required, CPA designation or Master’s degree preferred.
