When they saw the star, they REJOICED with exceeding great joy.

Matthew 2:10 [KJV]

When God calls us to look upon brokenness, oftentimes it is easier to turn away from it. But once our eyes lock with theirs, there comes a responsibility to act. These children’s faces, along with God’s command Florida Baptist Children’s Homes forward to relentlessly help One More Child.

There are thousand people to love them. Florida Baptist Children’s Homes is that refuge where children can come to experience childhood as it is intended to be.

Children like Laney*, an eight-year-old girl who had been deprived of a typical childhood, came to live on one of our residential campuses. One look in Laney’s eyes told her story of lack, hurt andonment.

Today, Laney lives in a cottage with seven other children and donors like you!

Arriving as a baby in a manger, Jesus Christ was sent to earth to bring the gift of salvation to mankind. As we reflect on this priceless gift, we should be compelled to bring our gifts in return. Would you please prayerfully consider giving this year? Without God’s provision through your gifts, we could not provide quality care for precious children like Laney.

As the Christmas season approaches, our desire is to make it a memorable one for each and every child in our care! In order to ensure our children have a special Christmas, we need your help!

We are so grateful for our steadfast financial partners who generously support Florida Baptist Children’s Homes year after year. God continues to use our ministry for His glory, and we diligently look to the future as we work to give eternal hope to ONE MORE CHILD!

Merry Christmas,

Jerry T. Haag, Ph.D., CFP®
President, Florida Baptist Children’s Homes and One More Child

P.S. This year we have more children to help than ever before! Please give on or before December 31 to receive your 2017 charitable deduction.
