They came to our campus with everything they owned in one garbage bag. Most of it needed to be thrown away. Siblings Jessy*, 16 years old, andoned building. While traveling for work, their father would leave them on their own for weeks at a time with just a couple dollars for food.
On their first day here, they were overwhelmed with gratefulness for the simple items we provided like soap, a toothbrush and David about Jesus Christ. Within the first month of them being with us, both siblings accepted Christ as their Savior.
We are so excited that we have been able to help these two precious children at their greatest point of need. Only by God’s grace and David.
Summer is coming and so many of these children will go to bed each night with an empty belly.
With increasing needs confronting children, Florida Baptist Children’s Homes is being called upon to do even more. Please give today so that we can provide more children with food!
