Hope your new year is off to an incredible start! We are putting the final touches on our upcoming Women of Compassion Forum to be held FRIDAY, February 24 from 9:00-3:00 on the Lakeland others.
You don’t want to miss this exciting day of worship, fellowship, challenging presentations and the opportunity to vote for one special project that will greatly impact the lives of children in our care!
I’ve been pretty busy lately, but I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to visit with some of you. One day last fall, I enjoyed lunch at the Camilla Tea Room in Plant City with WOC member, Deborah Dickerson. If you haven’t been there, I highly recommend it! I liked it so much I have been back three times with other Women of Compassion! 🙂
One day at the office, I was visited by these special girls from our campus who sold me some delicious chocolate candy! Don’t you wish you worked at Florida Baptist Children’s Homes?
Around Christmas time we had three incredible events that raised money for our ministry! Thank you so much Palmer House, The Rock Community Church and the Shelter kitchen renovation project. What a blessing! Here’s a picture of some of the items we sold at Lori’s house – you’ll see these same products at the forum in February, so bring your check book!
2012 promises to be an incredible year for Florida Baptist Children’s Homes and Women of Compassion! Can’t wait to hear what’s going on in your life! See you February 24.
