New Bedroom Furniture Needed
for Lakeland Campus
Our Christian family homes
We do everything possible to make our cottages look and feel like a typical family home. For this reason we want to have furniture that reflects a personal and positive atmosphere.
Currently, the children’s bedroom furniture is mismatched, has an institutional look, and is generally in overly worn condition.
We currently have four cottages on the Lakeland campus that serve up to eight children each and the shelter cottage that serves up to twelve children, for a total of 44 children that we can serve at one time.

A friend of the Children’s Homes has already given us $10,000 toward this project.
The total cost to purchase new furniture for the four cottages and the shelter on the Lakeland campus will be approximately $52,800.The $10,000 gift brings the total amount needed to $42,800.
Following are some of the furniture items that we would like to purchase for our kids:
Twin bed frame $39, desk chair $119, night stand $185, large drawer chest $449. A complete furniture set for one child can be provided with a gift of $1,200.
