Who We Are X

Florida Baptist Children’s Homes is made up of results-oriented professionals who are passionate about helping children and are called to do so through their vocation. Dr. Jerry Haag, President of Florida Baptist Children’s Homes, describes the agency’s culture with the acronym F.A.I.T.H. This stands for Faithfulness, Attitude, Integrity, Trust, and Humility.

We strive to hire people who embody these values, hold high standards in their work, are active in a local evangelical church, and who show an unwavering hope in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Applicants must also be eligible to work in the United States. Florida Baptist Children’s Homes is a church related social services institution, operating under the auspices of the Florida Baptist Convention, an Equal Opportunity Employer, and a Drug-Free Workplace.

Where We're Going X
For over 100 years, God has blessed our ministry greatly. It is truly an exciting time to be working for the Florida Baptist Children’s Homes. In the last year alone, when many agencies closed their doors or cut programs due to economic uncertainty, we increased the number of children we serve by over 50%, opened three new area offices, and began an International Childcare program that has seen explosive growth.  Our view is that the first hundred years of our ministry is just the beginning as we seek to provide Christ centered services to every child and family in need.
